The Scutum star cloud, M11, and dark nebulae

The upper portion of the Scutum star cloud is in the bottom right; the open cluster M11 is centered near the bottom, and various dark nebulae obscure stars above it.

Verendrye airstrip, October 4 (8:30-9:15 PM, T=-1 C, 4x500s)and 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, T=+7 C, 5x600s), 2010; seeing excellent. 200mm lens on Canon XSi; no filters; autoguided.
