Rosette Nebula in H alpha

A good start, but 10 more frames are needed to get the noise down to where I want it. A cold, windy night with poor seeing but good transparency. I am finding that the TV-85 performs well at temperatures near -10 to -15 C, with very precise focus and better flatness in the corners. The detail resolution in this image compares very favourably to that obtained with larger, 'better' scopes such as a Takahashi 106mm.

my back yard; December 29, 9 PM - 3 AM, 18x1000s. Parsec 8300M with Ha filter on TV85 at f/5.6; guided.
